Ihre Tätigkeiten

  • Tenders, negotiations, conclusion of framework agreements for maintenance services for freight wagons and its components
  • Supplier management (incl. scouting, development, evaluation, optimization and controlling)
  • Participation in the development and implementation of procurement strategies and concepts
  • Monitoring of workshop performance and defining improvement measures
  • Initiation and implementation of projects for cost savings and supplier performance
  • Participation in yearly revision and material planning
  • Coordination of workshop capacities
  • On-site support for workshops
  • Working within the VTG Lead-Buyer organization
  • Internal and external optimization of supplier management and procurement processes  

Ihr Profil

  • Successfully completed bachelor`s or master`s degree with technical background
  • Experienced in procurement of industrial maintenance services and supplier management
  • Profound knowledge of production or technical knowledge of industrial goods
  • Industrial knowledge in the rail sector is desirable
  • Profound negotiation skills and assertiveness
  • French language skills at native level, English language skills at least level B2
  • German language skills would be an advantage
  • Professional communication skills
  • Good knowledge of common Microsoft applications
  • High willingness to travel to Hamburg and within France
  • Remote work (Europe based)
